Safety means more to you than just compliance with regulations? Then take on the responsibility for occupational safety and health protection at our locations in Switzerland as a Safety Officer (SiBe). With your expertise, you ensure that our employees work in a safe, healthy, and compliant environment. You contribute significantly to the continuous development of our safety culture.

What you can achieve with us

• You take on the professional and organisational leadership of occupational safety and health protection topics for our locations in Switzerland
• You ensure the organisation of the intervention and first aid team at the main site in Schwarzenburg and take on the additional role of hazardous materials officer
• You ensure compliance with legal requirements and relevant standards and continuously develop our IMS (Integrated Management System)
• You conduct internal and external audits, training sessions, and risk assessments and ensure that the correct measures are derived and implemented from incidents and near-misses
• You maintain and further develop safety-relevant documentation and processes
• You advise managers and executive management as a competent contact person in all matters of occupational safety and health protection
• You implement the "Vision Zero" strategy and shape the safety culture across locations

Your profile

• A completed technical basic education with further training in occupational safety & health protection and hazardous materials
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar position in a manufacturing company
• Sound knowledge of Swiss labour law (ArG), accident insurance law (UVG), the hazardous materials officer ordinance (GGBV / ADR / SDR) as well as ISO 45001 and EKAS guidelines
• Independent, methodical working style and good communication and persuasion skills, ability to collaborate with a wide range of parties (local, global, internal and external)
• Fluent German and good French skills, English is a plus
