About the job
Care with heart wanted – experience is nice, but humanity is more important. NO – you don’t have to be able to do everything with us, but you should like people. Really. Yes, we are looking for you. No, you don’t have to be a medical encyclopedia on two legs. And no – you don’t have to save the world every day.
Sometimes it’s enough just to hold someone’s hand, help them get up, give an honest smile, or simply listen.
Because good care doesn’t start with a title. It starts with humanity.
And that’s exactly why we are looking for the following for our Fuhr residential centre in Wädenswil:
- SRK Care Assistants
- Care Assistants
- Care Interns
- Health and Social Assistants EBA (AGS)
Why you are more than just a helping hand with us. With us, it’s not about caring for as many people as possible in the shortest time. It’s about accompanying people in their daily lives.
- You know your residents – and eventually their little quirks.
- You know who drinks their coffee with milk and who prefers five more minutes of peace in the morning.
- You notice when someone is having a bad day, even without a word being said.
- You help where support is needed and promote independence wherever possible.
- You are part of a care team where every task is important – even the seemingly small ones.
Of course, there are days when a lot is going on. Of course, care is not always easy. And yes, sometimes three residents ring the bell at the same time. But with us, care should not become a race against the clock.
With us, it’s not just about what you do. It’s also about how you do it.
Who we are looking for – heart beats polished CV
Maybe you already have experience in care. Maybe you have completed an SRK course or an AGS training. Maybe you want to find out for the first time as an intern whether care is your calling.
What is important to us:
- You enjoy working with older people and treat them with respect.
- You have patience – even if something has to be explained for the third time.
- You are reliable, attentive and like to pitch in.
- You enjoy working in a team and know that no one has to manage everything alone.
- You bring humour. Because laughter is allowed in care too.
- You can communicate well in German.
You don’t have to know everything. You don’t have to be perfect. And you don’t have to have an answer to every question immediately.
But you should be willing to learn, take responsibility within your competencies, and accompany people with dignity. What we offer you – appreciation instead of empty promises We could now write that we have a motivated team and a pleasant working atmosphere. But everyone writes that.
So we’d rather tell you what you can actually expect with us:
- Modern mobile care trolleys so you spend less time searching and more time with people.
- ISO-certified quality because good care should not be a coincidence.
- Coffee that lives up to its name: espresso, cappuccino, latte macchiato or café crème – on request even with vanilla, caramel or hazelnut.
- Free soft drinks because no one should go thirsty through their shift.
- Lunch including starter for CHF 5.00 because good work makes you hungry.
- No salary deductions for KTG, UVG and NBU – we cover these costs completely.
- Own allowances for all employees.
- A team that supports you instead of leaving you alone with challenges.
- A workplace where your contribution counts, regardless of the job title on your name badge.
- And for all who are new to care: people who show you how it’s done, answer questions and accompany you in learning.
A little truth at the end
No, not every day with us is a walk in the park. Yes, there are early shifts, weekend shifts and situations where flexibility is required. And no, we cannot promise that every shift schedule request will be fulfilled.
But we can promise you something else:
You are not just "the help" with us. You are an important part of our team. A person who makes the daily lives of our residents a little better every day. Because sometimes it’s not the big medical achievements that are remembered. But the people who took the time.
So: Do you have a heart for people? Then maybe we have the right workplace for you.
Apply now. We look forward to getting to know you. If you have any questions, our HR manager Mirna Dukic at 044 783 39 29 will be happy to assist you.
