Job advertisement: Co-Principal Cycle 1 and 2 at the Hergiswil NW school
As an integrating leadership personality, you will help shape the expansion of the leadership model - in addition to the existing principal for Cycle 1 and 2. Together you will tackle the upcoming school development projects.
The Hergiswil school is an innovative school with 430 students and 110 teachers who teach very committedly at three locations. Around 60 teachers look after 330 students in kindergarten and primary school. We are looking on their behalf for the 2026/27 school year for an
integrating and implementation-strong leadership personality (80%)
who, together with a co-principal, leads and further develops Cycle 1 and 2. Together with the school management team, you are responsible for the pedagogical, personnel, financial, organizational, and administrative management of the Hergiswil school.
We are looking for a personality with teaching experience at the kindergarten or primary school level and completed leadership training and management experience in the educational environment. You have a solution-oriented attitude and show resilience even in challenging situations. In addition, you bring a pronounced flair for organizational and administrative tasks and are characterized by a communicative, appreciative, empathetic, and humorous manner.
You will receive the support of an experienced school management team and a committed school administration. Existing experience with innovative teaching methods such as nature kindergarten, learning islands, or ateliers provides an inspiring foundation for your work.
