Stahl Gerlafingen AG is a significant company within the AFV BELTRAME GROUP, which is the European market leader in the production of reinforcing steel.

About 450 employees manufacture reinforcing steel from scrap steel in Gerlafingen. Stahl Gerlafingen AG is the largest recycling company in Switzerland. The sales markets for the products are in Switzerland and the European Union.

Tasks/Responsibilities

• Further development and implementation of sustainability and ESG initiatives
• Ensuring compliance requirements as well as relevant guidelines and standards
• Support and further development of management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)
• Planning, conducting and follow-up of internal and external audits
• Identification and implementation of improvement measures in processes and workflows
• Support and advice to specialist departments on quality and sustainability-related issues
• Participation in cross-departmental projects (OpEx projects) and strategic initiatives

Competences

• Completed degree or comparable qualification (e.g. in environmental management, industrial engineering, business administration or similar)
• At least 2 years of experience in the areas of sustainability, compliance, quality management or related topics
• Knowledge of relevant norms and standards (e.g. ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)
• Structured, analytical and independent working style
• Strong communication skills and assertiveness
• High flexibility and interest in cross-departmental tasks
