At the Forensic Psychiatric Special Ward Etoine, you will find a unique field of activity as a senior psychologist, where psychotherapeutic work, psychiatric treatment, and forensic issues are closely intertwined. You take professional responsibility for the psychological-psychotherapeutic care of patients in custody with complex psychiatric disorders and work closely with the interprofessional treatment team as well as the specialist disciplines of the acute ward. In the Forensic Day Clinic (FTK) in Burgdorf, you design and are responsible for the psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment in a day clinic setting. In addition to clinical work, you assume professional leadership responsibility, supervision, and conceptual tasks, and actively contribute to the further development of the treatment offerings. Both services are part of the forensic care triangle of the UPZ and offer you, as a senior psychologist, an exceptionally diverse field of activity. You combine clinical and forensic expertise with leadership responsibility, actively shape innovative care services, and work in an interprofessional environment that offers close professional exchange and diverse development opportunities. Your tasks
- Senior psychological responsibility - You are responsible for the psychological-psychotherapeutic care of Etoine and FTK in dual leadership with the senior physician
- Patient care - You ensure evidence-based and guideline-compliant forensic psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment
- Supervision & further training - You supervise assistant psychologists & assistant physicians, accompany their clinical work, and actively shape their professional and psychotherapeutic development
- Concept & service development - You actively design and develop treatment and care concepts
- Research - You support the further development of evidence-based forensic care and actively participate in research and quality development projects if interested and needed
Your profile
- Professional qualification - You have a university degree in clinical psychology and completed psychotherapy training
- Interest in forensics - You wish to deepen your training in forensics and ideally bring initial knowledge
- Leadership & organisation - You have leadership experience, organisational skills, and enjoy leadership and training responsibilities
- Collaboration - Team spirit, communication skills, and enjoyment of interprofessional collaboration characterise you
- Development - You are committed to the continuous development of the department
- Language - You have very good German skills, ideally also good spoken French skills. Additional language skills are an advantage
