Spitex Glattal is one of the largest Spitex organisations in the canton of Zurich and fulfils a service mandate for the care of around 34,000 residents. As a modern and future-oriented organisation, we employ around 90 staff members, including 9 FaGe apprentices and 3 nursing students at HF level, as well as 1 FH student. Together, we dedicate ourselves daily with expertise, commitment, and passion to the well-being of our clients.

In this versatile, responsible role as Educational and Professional Lead in Nursing, you will take on a central role in ensuring and further developing the quality of education and nursing care. You will accompany and support our vocational trainers, HF students, and FaGe apprentices during their training and actively promote their professional and personal development. With your expertise and commitment, you will make a significant contribution to promoting, securing, and continuously advancing nursing quality as well as sustainably shaping the nursing of tomorrow.

What you will achieve with us

• You are responsible for the personnel, operational, and professional development of the nursing area as well as the continuous improvement of nursing quality and the service offering
• You plan, coordinate, and further develop the practical training of our HF students and FaGe apprentices and support them in their professional and personal development
• You support and advise vocational trainers and nursing teams on training matters and promote pedagogical skills within the team
• You are responsible for the recruitment of apprentices, students, and staff and maintain collaboration with internal and external educational partners
• You foster a respectful learning and training culture, promote the next generation of nursing professionals, and advocate for future-oriented nursing
• You initiate and accompany development and change processes and strengthen the self-responsibility and self-organisation of employees

What you bring with you

• Trainer with a federal specialist certificate and experience in supporting HF students and FaGe apprentices
• Diploma as a nursing professional HF/FH as well as several years of professional and leadership experience with appropriate further training, ideally in the Spitex sector
• Sound nursing expertise as well as pronounced pedagogical and didactic skills
• High social and communication competence as well as an empathetic, appreciative, and solution-oriented attitude
• Organisational talent, initiative, and enjoyment in actively shaping development processes
• Enthusiasm for promoting the next generation of nursing professionals and the further development of nursing and education
• Driving licence Category B
