Business Architect for IT Platform

Our small, smart technology team wants to specifically strengthen its strategic competence in collaboration with partners and providers at the level of IT technology with you. You will contribute significantly to ensuring that planned technological developments on our IT platforms such as core banking software finnova.neo, Modern Workplace, cloud solutions are successfully implemented in the coming years. You work closely with strategic technology decisions and can actively help shape demanding IT topics.

Your main areas of responsibility:

• Responsibility for technology and infrastructure services, especially the basic technology of Microsoft and cloud platforms
• Creating specifications and reviewing configurations of complex and networked IT infrastructures and IT platforms
• Reviewing specifications and evaluations of infrastructure components for IT platforms in networked or heterogeneous landscapes
• Developing solution designs and technical concepts for new requirements and projects, including coordination and management of technical issues
• Technical sparring partner for engineers, architects and specialists of our software suppliers and operating partners as well as for internal stakeholders such as project managers, business managers and analysts
• Sparring partner of the internal CISO and participation in the further development of the cyber security strategy and the technological security architecture
• Taking over service management towards a key supplier

What you bring with you:

• Broad experience as an IT engineer both in solutions design and as an IT architect in the areas of Microsoft, cloud technologies, IT infrastructure or platform engineering
• Enjoy tackling demanding topics in collaboration with partners and developing convincing solutions
• Enthusiasm and affinity for topics such as cloud technology, IT security, IT architectures, efficient and high-performance data management
• Enjoy working with and have strong communication skills with providers and employees at various levels
• Several years of experience in leading IT projects and an independent, structured, goal- and solution-oriented way of working
• Experience in the banking, financial services or regulated IT environment is an advantage
• Confident communication and correspondence in German
• Several years of work experience in a larger IT organisation and professional experience in Switzerland
