Is corporate client business underwriting your passion? You already have several years of experience in this field and would like to take on more responsibility?

In the P&C underwriting area in the national corporate client business, we are looking for an experienced underwriter in the field of property and technical insurance. In this role, you are responsible for the quotation process, independently support and advise the assigned general agencies and brokers, and act as their professional contact person. Together with our sales team, you respond to the needs of our customers and seek the best insurance solutions.

What you do

• You independently process quotation requests from general agencies and brokers for new and existing customers
• You identify and assess insurance risks and obtain relevant information to determine the quotation conditions
• You support customers, general agencies and brokers with professional questions and process insurance applications including administrative tasks
• You contribute to the implementation of portfolio measures
• You maintain telephone and personal contact with customers, agencies and brokers and act as a professional contact person

What you bring

• Completed commercial basic training, preferably supplemented by further higher education in the insurance industry
• Several years of professional experience in the insurance environment, especially in underwriting or in property and technical insurance
• Strong customer and service orientation combined with good analytical skills and an independent working style
• Confident German, any additional national language as well as English are advantageous
