Senior DevOps Engineer 100% (m/f/d) - Azure | GenAI | Terraform | Kubernetes

For a client in the banking sector in Zug, we are looking for an experienced individual to build and further develop a GenAI platform on Microsoft Azure.
In an interdisciplinary DevOps team, you will automate infrastructure and releases, operate platform services, and support internal application teams with integration.

Responsibilities:
• Build and operate Azure cloud resources and Kubernetes applications using Terraform, Helm Charts and GitLab
• Automate build, test and release processes for GenAI applications
• Develop technical concepts considering security and regulatory requirements
• Ensure stable operations through monitoring, logging, alerting and incident resolution
• Support internal application teams with onboarding and operational queries
• Further develop solutions for authorisation, routing, monitoring and guardrails

Experience:
• Several years of experience as a Senior-level DevOps Engineer
• Solid knowledge of Git, GitLab, Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes and Helm
• In-depth Azure knowledge, especially API Management, AKS, Functions, Azure OpenAI, AI Search, Document Intelligence, Azure Foundry and Storage Accounts
• Experience with CI/CD as well as monitoring and logging, for example with Prometheus, Grafana and Azure Monitor
• GenAI project experience with RAG, Agentic AI or LLMOps is an advantage
• Knowledge of Entra ID, RBAC, OAuth as well as Python and/or Java is an advantage
• Experience coordinating technical concepts with IT security and architecture is an advantage
• Structured, team-oriented working style
• German C2 and English C1
