School Psychological Advisory Service in the Meilen District
The school psychological service in the Meilen district is a counselling and assessment centre that supports schools in their educational and integration mandate. Our responsible work serves the emotional, cognitive and social development of pupils in the 11 municipalities of the Meilen district.
We are looking for a member for our team of 13 psychologists
from autumn 2026 (or by arrangement) a school psychologist for a workload of 70 - 80%
Your tasks
- Conducting psychological assessments and diagnostics for school-related issues
- Advising parents, teachers and school management on topics such as learning and behavioural difficulties
- Developing and implementing prevention and intervention measures
- Cooperating with specialist agencies, authorities and other institutions
- Participating in information events and interdisciplinary school teams
Your profile
- Completed degree in psychology (Master's or equivalent qualification)
- Specialist training in child and adolescent psychology and school psychology or willingness to complete this
- Completed assistantship year in school psychology
- High social competence, empathy and communication skills
- Independent and structured way of working
- Good knowledge of the Swiss educational landscape and school systems
