Economic social assistance
You support, advise and care for people in difficult life situations and treat them with respect. In addition, you are able to deal with the different life situations and expectations of a diverse clientele. Together with those affected, you seek ways and strategies to improve living conditions with the aim of economic and social independence.
Your challenges
- Case management in the area of economic and personal social assistance, including payments and examination of subsidiary social insurance benefits
- Drafting of benefit decisions, conditions and instructions, reimbursement orders, handling of objections and preparatory tasks for decision-making by the social welfare authority in objection decisions
- Conducting individual counselling sessions
- Administrative tasks directly related to the role as a social worker, in particular maintaining statistics
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with specialist agencies, social insurances and authorities
- Support in controlling residual cost financing and processing care vouchers, exercising foster child supervision
- Participation in process optimisation and development of foundational documents
Your qualifications
- University of applied sciences degree in social work
- Professional experience in one or more fields of social work, especially economic social assistance
- Engaging personality with strong communication skills
