The Recycling & Disposal division processes residual materials from our own chemical production as well as from external partners. In connection with the strategic expansion of production capacities, the existing special waste recovery plant (SAVA) is continuously modernised and a new flue gas recovery plant (AVA) is additionally commissioned.
For the technical responsibility within the plant engineering of the existing special waste recovery plant (SAVA) and the commissioning and organisational integration of the future AVA – both consisting of a high-temperature furnace, steam generation, flue gas cleaning with DENOX catalyst, wastewater treatment, and tank storage – we are looking for a
Process Engineer for Recovery Plants (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
- Project management: planning and leading annual revisions as well as conversion/optimisation projects while adhering to costs, deadlines, quality, and safety
- Technical support of the plants and ensuring plant availability
- Process engineering design, handling of P&ID diagrams, procurement of technical equipment and assembly services, conducting commissioning and handover to operations
- Process optimisation: troubleshooting, root cause analysis, efficiency improvement
- Creation and management of maintenance and servicing concepts for operations including consistent documentation
- Participation in investment planning
Your Profile
- Academic or higher technical or scientific education (Chemistry/Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering)
- Operational experience in (special) waste recovery, recycling, and steam generation (e.g. incineration plants, waste-to-energy plants, district heating)
- Proven experience in project work including conversion and commissioning of process engineering procedures
- Strong analytical skills (troubleshooting, root cause analysis)
- Inspiring, motivating personality, solution-oriented, able to compromise
- Fluent in German (written and spoken)
