For our client, an established organisation in the health and social care sector, we are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist. The organisation offers a respectful working environment with clear structures and a collegial team. The temporary assignment is planned for at least three months. An extension is realistic; the assignment can be continued for several months or, if mutually interested, turned into a long-term engagement. The start date is planned for immediately. Your place of work is very centrally located in the city of Bern and is easily accessible mainly by public transport.

Your tasks with the new employer:

• Together with the HR team, you ensure the correct payroll processing for several hundred employees
• You independently carry out the monthly payroll runs for monthly and hourly wages, including changes, checks and postings
• Handling social insurance cases as well as questions about payroll accounting and time management are part of your daily work
• As a contact person, you support employees and managers with questions about wages and payroll
• You contribute your experience in maintaining payroll data in Abacus and optimising existing payroll processes

You offer your new employer:

• A commercial basic education as well as solid professional experience in payroll accounting or payroll
• Experience with Abacus is a mandatory requirement for this assignment
• You are familiar with Swiss social insurances and experienced in processing monthly and hourly wages
• An accurate, independent and reliable working style characterises you, even with extensive payroll runs
• With your service-oriented and team-capable manner, you support the HR team in day-to-day business
