Job opening for an 80% sociocultural facilitator position - TSHM Genthod / Collex-Bossy.

Job Description

• Ensure proximity prevention and mediation work with young people by various means such as a drop-in centre, small jobs, individual follow-ups, street work, etc.
• Actively participate in the conceptualisation and implementation of targeted actions, as well as animation projects in the municipalities
• Based on observed social issues, participate in the development of collective work, in close collaboration with other social workers in the region, existing social structures and municipal authorities 
• Assume management and organisational tasks related to activities and objectives set by FASe and the municipalities.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in social work, HES level, or an equivalent university qualification
• Experience in sociocultural facilitation and/or outreach social work (drop-in centre, small jobs, individual follow-ups, street work)
• Knowledge of the characteristics of the young population, marked interest and demonstrated abilities for working with adolescents / young adults
• Good knowledge and practice in project methodology and situation diagnosis 
• Skills for networking: collaboration with social actors of the concerned municipalities and the canton, and proximity institutions ; good knowledge of the Geneva social network 
• Ability to work autonomously, while actively collaborating with the team and regional coordinator, in coherence and respect with other social workers of the municipalities and the foundation’s requests
• Initiative, creativity, sense of responsibility 
• Good experience in organisation and planning, managing priorities and emergencies 
• Ability to write reports, use common computer software, rigor and respect for deadlines.
• Proven experience and solid understanding of social work in rural and outreach settings, with mastery of these specificities: field operation, contextual realities, proximity issues, mobilisation of the local network and mobility.

• Salary according to the Geneva State pay scale: maximum class 15 
• Must have a means of transport. Driving licence required.
• Availability and openness to irregular hours (notably evenings and weekends) 
• Start date: 1 September 2026
