Security Operations Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
Security thrives on daily vigilance. In this role as a Security Operations Engineer, you manage the operational security operations and ensure that anomalies are quickly detected and properly handled. The daily routine combines technical understanding with structured analysis. There is scope for creativity and an environment with high professional competence.
Responsibilities:
You manage the ongoing operations in the area of IT Security and handle requests, reports, and security incidents.
You investigate suspicious events in detail, assess the risk, and initiate appropriate measures.
You review deployed protective mechanisms and identify potential improvements.
This also includes monitoring current threat scenarios and preparing findings for internal departments.
Furthermore, you contribute to the expansion of processes and tools in Security Monitoring.
In addition, you document incidents thoroughly and regularly exchange information with adjacent teams.
Qualifications:
You have a completed degree from a university, technical college, or university of applied sciences.
You have already gained several years of practical experience in IT operations or software development.
Topics related to Cyber Security fascinate you; relevant experience is a plus.
Independent, systematic working methods correspond to your work style.
Moreover, you express yourself precisely in German and use English effortlessly in professional exchanges.
Additionally, you approach issues analytically and appreciate exchanging ideas with colleagues.
