These are your tasks

• You are part of a modern traffic control centre and master the challenges of daily railway operations together as a team.
• You lead and coordinate the operational railway production of SZU during your shift and ensure that safety, customer orientation, punctuality, "robustness" and resources work together.
• You bring together the roles in the traffic control centre professionally and operationally – train service, personnel deployment planning, communication/customer information and helpdesk – and organise additional support if necessary.
• You control vehicles and operational resources from an overall perspective, decide on dispatch measures and coordinate closely with train staff, rolling stock, operations planning, specialist services and external partners.
• You are the operational extension of management during ongoing operations: you lead by example, give clear instructions and feedback, address deviations and support employees even in demanding situations.

These are your key competencies

• You have several years of experience in operational railway production as well as experience in shift supervision.
• You have leadership strength and can effectively manage the situation in the traffic control centre at all times: "clear in assignment, respectful in interaction and consistent in follow-up".
• You have a strong safety and quality awareness and work conscientiously, reliably and independently.
• You think analytically and networked, quickly recognise operational dependencies and make considered, comprehensible decisions even under time pressure.
• You remain calm in demanding situations, set clear priorities and seek support in good time if necessary.
• You are a team player and communicate clearly, precisely and respectfully.
• You have business fluent German skills, both spoken and written.
