Automation Engineer - Pharma Engineering (m/f/d)

General Information:

• Location: Basel
• Workload: 100%
• Start: 01.12.2026
• Duration: Permanent
• Home Office: Possible by arrangement, at least 60% on site
• Travel activity: Basically none, occasional FAT assignments in Europe possible

Your Tasks:

• Ensuring operational engineering to guarantee trouble-free production
• Continuous optimisation of existing process plants as well as evaluation of new automation technologies
• Independent participation in automation projects across all project phases
• Responsibility for technical solutions, deadlines, resources and costs within projects
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams as well as internal and external stakeholders
• Support during GMP and HSE relevant audits and inspections
• Participation in the 24/7 support team for automated production plants

Your Profile:

• Completed training or degree as technician or engineer in automation, electrical engineering, technical computer science or a comparable field
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the automation environment, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
• Very good knowledge of Siemens PCS7, S7, TIA Portal and WinCC
• Solid experience in GMP and GAMP regulated environments
• Independent, structured and responsible way of working
• High service orientation as well as pronounced sense of duty
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form, English advantageous
