For our purchasing team, we are looking for a committed individual who combines operational excellence with strategic thinking and enjoys further developing processes, strengthening supplier relationships, and actively shaping them.

What to expect

• Responsibility for the operational and strategic procurement of a defined range (focus on fastening technology)
• Ensuring product availability taking into account stock levels and budget requirements
• Building, maintaining and further developing international supplier relationships with a focus on Asia
• Conducting price, terms and annual negotiations with manufacturers and suppliers
• Analysing market trends and identifying new products and range opportunities
• Planning and coordinating manufacturing and assembly orders with external production partners in Lucerne
• Ensuring quality, delivery reliability and efficient process flows
• Handling quality issues and compliance with relevant standards and certifications
• Close cooperation with logistics, category/product management and quality assurance
• Responsibility for master data and data quality in the ERP system

What you bring

• Completed commercial or technical training, ideally with further education in purchasing
• Experience in operational and strategic purchasing, preferably in a technical environment
• Knowledge of fastening technology (screws, nails, fasteners) is an advantage
• Experience with international suppliers, especially in Asia
• Structured, solution-oriented working style and strong negotiation skills
• Enjoy working with production partners and social institutions
• Very good ERP knowledge and high data quality
• Fluent German, business fluent English
