To complement our team and in the course of the extension of the Regional Prison Altstätten, opening in February 2028, we are looking for a Head of Health and Social Services (m/f/d) from 1 February 2027 or by arrangement:

Head of Health and Social Services (m/f/d)

• A responsible, varied leadership position with three subordinate specialist areas
• Meaningful, interdisciplinary collaboration with internal and external partners in a demanding environment
• As a member of the prison management, the opportunity to help shape the future of the Regional Prison
• A functioning prison with imminent growth to three times its size, built to modern standards

• Completed training in social work HF/FH or nursing HF/FH or equivalent qualification
• Many years of professional experience and several years of leadership experience
• In addition to your expertise, you bring a great deal of initiative and a can-do attitude
• High flexibility, resilience and stress resistance as well as risk-oriented thinking and responsible action
