- Support and expansion of server landscapes and networks in the cloud as well as directly at customers
- Provision of physical and virtual server systems including configuration and integration into existing environments
- Monitoring the infrastructure and ensuring reliable operation
- Co-design of secure and highly available cloud architectures
- Evaluation of new technologies and testing innovative solution approaches using prototypes
- In-depth experience with virtualization based on VMware and Hyper-V as well as storage and backup solutions
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Exchange or Exchange Online
- Practical experience in the administration of Windows and Linux
- Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Microsoft 365
- Sound network understanding in the areas of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VLANs and firewalls
- Experience with monitoring solutions and the operation of IT infrastructures
- Independent working style and high quality standards
- Fluent German and English as well as willingness to travel occasionally

Tasks
- Participation in international IT projects, from technical conception to commissioning- Support and expansion of server landscapes and networks in the cloud as well as directly at customers

Profile
- Degree in computer science or a comparable recognised qualification- In-depth experience with virtualization based on VMware and Hyper-V as well as storage and backup solutions
