Business Application Manager in Healthcare

Your tasks
- Application management: Support, further development and optimisation of central business applications (e.g. HIS, ERP, CRM, patient portals) in cooperation with the application/module managers
- Process analysis: Recording, evaluation and digitalisation of clinical and administrative processes
- Interdisciplinary communication: Close cooperation with medical departments, nursing, administration and ICT
- Co-project management: Planning and implementation of IT projects, including management of external service providers
- Quality assurance: Conducting tests, documentation and training for users
- Support coordination: Ensuring stable operation and escalation management
- Interface management: Operation, monitoring and further development of HL7, REST, SOAP and proprietary interfaces
- System integration between HealthEngine, data warehouse systems, Curamed, NEXUS HIS and NEXUS ERP
- Error analysis & monitoring e.g. of HL7 files, queues, mappings and performance issues.
- Documentation & governance: Maintenance of interface catalogues, data flow diagrams and technical specifications.
- Ensuring a secure, stable and efficient operation of the business applications
- Analysis and resolution of malfunctions, complex incidents and support of the service desk as second- and third-level support.
- Ensuring compliance with our IT security standards and support in security, compliance and data protection issues
- Documentation of systems, processes and technical concepts in a comprehensible and up-to-date manner
- Evaluation of new technologies and contribution of innovative ideas that sustainably further develop our IT.
Your profile
- Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ, HF/FH or a comparable qualification
- Team player and team spirit; you like to share your knowledge, support colleagues and know that the best results are achieved together
- Several years of experience in application management, ideally in healthcare
- Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, interface operation and integration architectures as well as systems such as HealthEngine, Curamed, NEXUS HIS and NEXUS ERP are advantageous
- Confident handling of databases, SQL, ETL processes and data warehouse structures
- Strong understanding of clinical and administrative workflows as well as a quick grasp. You quickly and systematically familiarise yourself with new software solutions, programming languages and business processes
- Communication skills and commitment, analytical thinking and high service orientation as well as a cool head in hectic times
- Experience in project management (classical or agile)
- Analytical thinking, an independent working style and enjoyment in developing sustainable solutions
- Communication skills and enjoyment in collaborating with different departments.
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
