About the job
The Space + Environment department sustainably shapes and develops the areas of spatial planning, climate, nature and environmental protection of the city of Kloten. In close cooperation with urban planning, it drives the operational implementation of the city’s energy strategy and climate goals.To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed individual from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.
Project Manager Climate and Mobility, m/f/d, 80%
Your area of responsibility
- Energy and climate (implementation of measures for energy and climate strategy, certifications, energy planning, energy accounting, climate cockpit)
- Projects in the areas of climate protection, energy supply and consumption
- Projects in the areas of mobility and transport (overall traffic concept, operational and design concepts, mobility offers and advice)
- Enforcement work in environmental and nature protection
- Communication, networking and participation
- Information office for private individuals, builders, businesses and administration
- Administration of the energy commission
- Deputy of the waste disposal and recycling office
You bring with you
- University or university of applied sciences degree in environmental sciences, spatial planning or related courses
- Competencies in the topics of climate, energy and mobility
- Skills with databases and monitoring tools
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary work in a small, agile team
- Operating at the pulse of politics, population and economy
- Administrative knowledge is an advantage
