About the job
The Rychenberg school unit is located in the Oberwinterthur city district and includes seven kindergarten classes, 18 primary school classes, and 14 secondary school classes at various locations. The school operation with around 750 students and about 100 educational professionals is led by a co-leadership with four principals following the Sociocratic Circle Organization Method (SKM). The school is oriented towards diverse education for a livable world for all. The jointly developed code: "Curiosity, Joy, Respect, and Community" as well as the solution-oriented and appreciative attitude are clearly visible in everyday school life. In the versatile role as co-principal, you will take over the leadership of the Rychenberg school unit together with the existing co-principal as of January 1, 2026, or by arrangement – focus on Cycle 2.Your Tasks
- Operational management of the school unit in organizational, administrative, and financial areas (school credit) together with the existing co-principal (total 310%)
- Personnel and pedagogical leadership of the staff
- Joint promotion and securing of school and quality development
- Representing the school internally and externally
Collaboration with the school board, the education management, and the school principals in Winterthur
Your Profile
- Proven leadership and professional experience in the educational environment, preferably with school leadership experience
- Started or completed school leadership training
- Teaching experience as a teacher
- Solution-oriented attitude and composure in dealing with challenging situations
- Flair for organizational and administrative tasks
- Communicative, appreciative with participative leadership style
