At our location in Bilten (GL), we develop and produce liquid foods such as whipped creams, cold & hot sauces, marinades, salad dressings, sandwich fillings, and other liquid specialties. Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) (80–100%)

In this demanding and versatile position, you are responsible for ensuring a cost-optimal supplier base. You develop and manage procurement-relevant key figures. You identify optimization potentials, increase the strategic supplier performance, and thus improve the value contribution of procurement to the company's success. You are responsible for the entire "Source to Contract" process.

What you do with us

• Development and implementation of the procurement strategy
• Comprehensive management of suppliers and material groups
• Implementation of the supplier evaluation system
• Price & condition negotiations including conclusion of framework agreements and handover in the ERP system
• Tenders for raw materials, packaging materials, and logistics services
• Development of a TCO consideration for awarding new contracts
• Business project responsibility for dual & multi sourcing projects
• Procurement of raw materials and packaging materials as well as business responsibility for the procurement of new raw materials/packaging materials in customer projects

What you bring

• Completed commercial training or equivalent further education
• Further training as a purchasing specialist EFA is an advantage
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable function
• Extensive experience in negotiation
• Good knowledge of project and product management is an advantage
• Very good ERP and MS-365 skills (especially Excel)
• Assertiveness with empathy, communication skills, teamwork, and organizational talent
