Is this you?

As Head of Category Management SubCo, you are responsible for the strategic development of our material and supplier structures. You lead and coach two Category Managers and are the central contact person for the SubCo area.

The portfolio includes a wide range of technical and infrastructural services as well as materials. These include waste disposal, lift and hoisting technology, construction and craft services, electrical services and materials, building management and building services, HVAC, duct services, laboratory and healthcare, maintenance of indoor and outdoor facilities, security services and materials, technical building security as well as doors and gates.

What to expect

• You further develop the material and supplier strategies of your product groups and ensure their implementation in the regions.
• You negotiate framework agreements for services and materials with existing and new suppliers and continuously develop them further.
• You monitor costs, quality and delivery reliability based on relevant key figures and derive targeted improvement measures.
• You ensure compliance with global and local contracts and optimise our procurement structures and supply chains.
• You support operational managers in supplier selection and cost optimisation, analyse expenses and identify new saving potentials.
• You promote improvements in the areas of occupational safety, sustainability, social responsibility and innovation.
• You are responsible for reporting on cost reductions as well as budget planning, monitoring and forecasting. In addition, you contribute to the integration of new client mandates as well as national and international projects.

What you bring

• You have a completed commercial or technical basic education with further university-level training in purchasing or supply chain management.
• You have several years of experience in strategic purchasing or category management, ideally in the SubCo environment.
• You have proven leadership experience and strong project management skills.
• You think analytically, are numerically inclined and work in a structured and solution-oriented manner.
• You convince with negotiation skills, assertiveness and strong social competencies.
• You have very good knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office.
• You communicate fluently in German and confidently in French and English. Knowledge of Italian is an advantage.
