Your Tasks

• Analysis, design and development of your own product range area
• Negotiations with suppliers
• Responsibility for product development, optimisation and quality controls
• Coordination of purchasing activities and co-design of purchasing strategies at national level as well as with the international purchasing organisation
• Evaluation of key figures and initiation of appropriate measures
• Market observations and analyses to identify new trends and changes in customer buying behaviour
• Interface management (suppliers, quality assurance, merchandise business, marketing)
• Quantity planning

Your Profile

• Completed studies (university/FH), preferably with a business focus
• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Category Manager in retail or the food industry
• Organisational and coordination talent as well as strong analytical and communication skills
• Team player mentality, high resilience and commitment
• Assertiveness, independence and diligence
• Possession of a valid category B driving licence
• Very good German skills, as well as good English skills. Knowledge of another national language is an advantage
