Who are we?

The Swiss Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training EHB is the Swiss centre of expertise for vocational education and training. We train and further educate those responsible for vocational education, research vocational education, develop professions, and support international vocational education cooperation. Our locations are in Zollikofen near Bern (headquarters), Lausanne and Lugano, with external sites in Olten and Zurich.

For the Services division, we are looking for immediately or by arrangement in Zollikofen a

Application Manager:in at Abacus (80-100%)

Your area of responsibility

• You operate and further develop our ERP system Abacus – close to the business and with real impact.
• You work on the digitalisation of work and business processes and contribute your own ideas.
• You analyse requirements from the specialist departments and accompany their implementation in projects.
• You work closely with internal stakeholders as well as external partners and suppliers.
• In daily business, you take responsibility for topics such as 2nd level support, training, releases, data quality, and system operation.

Your profile

• A completed education or further training in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a comparable field.
• 3–8 years of professional experience in application management, business analysis, or a similar role.
• Initial experience in ERP projects or participation in digital transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of Abacus is a must.
• You work in a structured manner, enjoy learning new things, take responsibility, and show initiative.
• You communicate confidently in German or French and can discuss professional matters in English.
