CPNE is the reference body for vocational training offers in the canton of Neuchâtel. We provide training and support across various levels of vocational education (initial training, higher education, and continuing education).
Your responsibilities
As head of the Applied Arts Division (CPNE-AA) - School of Applied Arts, you play a role in the quality of training pathways offered to future professionals.
As director, you ensure the smooth running of CPNE-AA training programmes on operational, educational, administrative, financial, and regulatory levels. In this capacity, you establish the overall teaching schedule, plan and oversee the execution of activities related to the start of the school year, end of semesters, and examinations. You make admission decisions, disciplinary sanctions, and assess the quality of services while ensuring staff training.
You deploy training systems compliant with federal and cantonal regulations and aligned with the evolution of technologies and processes applied in the Arts professions. Depending on needs, you create new collaborations with other training institutions or organisations.
You promote the institution through the implementation of activities such as mandates, competitions, events, exhibitions, and maintain links with private, cultural, museum, and creative professional sectors. Finally, you contribute to the development of CPNE’s quality, environmental, and safety systems.
Your profile
With tertiary-level education (ES or HES) in a field related to Applied Arts, you also hold a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in administration and management of a training institution or are willing to undertake this CAS while working.
Methodical, rigorous, and organised, you have proven experience in team leadership and organisational management. Your solid knowledge of vocational training and interest in training engineering enable you to manage complex files independently. You demonstrate availability, foster team spirit, and cultivate collaboration with internal and external partners. Good stress resistance completes your profile.
Ongoing collaboration with a professional association in the Applied Arts field and experience as a teacher in a vocational training institution are assets.
You live in Switzerland in accordance with legal requirements for public office holders.
We offer you
- Attractive employment conditions in a constantly evolving organisation.
- Integration into a medium-sized structure composed of dynamic and welcoming teams.
- 8 weeks of holiday per year.
