Pastor

The Evangelical Reformed Church Community of Uster, with over 9,000 members, is one of the largest church communities in the canton of Zurich and is actively committed to intergenerational community work with diverse offerings. To strengthen our pastoral team, we are looking for a pastor with a focus on intergenerational contact and encounter tasks.

We live our church in the city, in the neighborhoods, and in the outposts. Around 25 employees, a seven-member pastoral team, a motivated church council, and committed volunteers look forward to you. We respond to social changes, explore new paths together, and maintain proven traditions.

To complement our pastoral team, we are looking for an initiative pastor:

• You build bridges between our Christian tradition and today's living environments.
• You shape the diverse basic tasks of a parish pastorate and are open to trying out different forms of spirituality and community.
• You have the opportunity to lead a confirmation class if desired.
• You initiate and are responsible for new projects focusing on encounter and relationship.
• You take care of tasks in the area of contact maintenance and networking.
• You bring a denominational basic attitude and are electable in the concordat.

With a view to a balanced composition of our team, we would prefer a male colleague if possible.

We are an urban, family-friendly community and offer a diverse working environment with administrative and collegial support. A residence in Uster would be advisable.
