Your job – versatile, independent and operational

You like to be in the thick of things, lend a hand yourself and don’t want to spend the whole day at a desk?

As an All-rounder Air Freight Import & Export, you take on the independent handling of air freight shipments and actively support our team in the operational airport business. You are regularly airside on the move, take care of collections and deliveries, and also handle AOG and time-critical shipments.

Your tasks

• Independent handling of air freight import & export from A to Z
• Import, export and customs clearance as well as document processing
• Collection and delivery of shipments at Zurich Airport
• Operational work airside as well as goods receipt and handover
• Cooperation with airlines, handling agents, customs, customers and partners
• Processing of AOG, express and time-critical shipments
• Compliance with safety, customs and airport regulations
• Participation in shift and on-call duty

Shift & on-call duty

• Shift operation according to deployment planning
• About 1× per month a whole on-call week (including weekend)
• On-call duty as afternoon shift on site with standby in the evening/night
• Independent handling of urgent shipments and AOG cases during on-call duty

Your profile

• Completed training in forwarding / logistics
• Several years of experience in air freight
• Good knowledge of import and exportExperience in independent shipment handling
• Good German and English skills
• Driving licence category B
• Airside experience an advantage
• Independent, reliable, resilient and flexible
• You like to lend a hand yourself and are also operationally active
• Willingness for shift and on-call duty
• Impeccable reputation

1. Do you live a maximum of approx. 30 minutes from Zurich Airport?
2. Do you have an impeccable reputation (no entries in the criminal record)?
3. Do you have a valid driving licence category B?
4. Are you willing to work shifts and about 1× monthly a whole on-call week as an afternoon shift with standby in the evenings & nights including weekends and public holidays?
5. Do you have experience in independent handling of air freight import and export?
