The municipality of Gossau ZH in the Zurich Oberland has over 10,500 inhabitants. In our service-oriented municipal administration, around 130 employees work in six departments. The sub-department of Space and Occupancy Management within the Real Estate Department ensures the smooth operation of municipally owned properties, facilities, and infrastructures – from room management and event support to inspection rounds. Specialist in Space and Occupancy Management (20% - 50%)

Focus on Event Support

Your area of responsibility:

• Customer support including preparation, accompaniment, and follow-up of events
• Provision of infrastructure (set-up and dismantling)
• Ensuring property safety (including fire protection regulations) during room occupancy and facility use
• Conducting inspection rounds and reporting disturbances, damages, and safety-relevant defects
• On-call duty
• Support at the Tannenberg outdoor pool during the bathing season
• Optional lifeguard duties during public swimming operations

Your profile:

• Good technical understanding
• Physically resilient and enduring
• Flexibility for irregular working hours spread over the week including weekend shifts
• Willingness for on-call duty
• Articulate and confident in written and spoken expression
• Driving licence category B, own car advantageous
• Resident in the Gossau ZH area
