The Solothurn Cantonal Police guarantees high security for the people in the Canton of Solothurn - competently day and night. For the Legal Service, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a fixed term of six months at the Solothurn location for a legal officer, 80-100%.
Your responsibilities
- In legal matters, you support the Legal Service and conduct investigations in the area of police law and criminal procedure law.
- You issue orders, process complaints based on the Cantonal Police Act and weapons legislation, and draft opinions based on the Liability Act.
- You provide legal advice to corps members and support them in criminal and civil proceedings.
- Your duties include preparing drafts within the framework of legislation, processing parliamentary motions, and drafting consultations for the department.
Your profile
- You have a university degree in law (Master’s level).
- You enjoy fact-finding and handling legal issues.
- Analytical skills, an independent, reliable and precise working style, as well as a confident expression characterise you.
- You enjoy working in a motivated team, are flexible and resilient.
