Job description

As Area Manager, you take on a key role in the development and performance enhancement of the boutiques in your region. You support the Store Managers and their teams in achieving their goals, promote the further development of their skills and ensure compliance with the quality standards that define the reputation of the Swatch Group.

Your tasks:

• You implement the sales strategy of the boutique network and actively contribute to its success.
• You manage sales performance by analysing sales figures, customer frequency and relevant key performance indicators and implement the necessary measures to achieve targets.
• You support, motivate and develop the Store Managers, Assistant Managers and their sales teams.
• You actively participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
• You monitor operational activities and ensure smooth processes in the various retail outlets.
• You ensure compliance with internal processes as well as the company’s quality standards.
• You ensure excellent implementation of merchandising, product presentation as well as introductions of brands, new products and sales promotions.
• You monitor stock levels and ensure proper execution of stock checks and inventories.

Profile

• You have a higher commercial qualification.
• Experience in selling luxury goods, ideally in the watch, jewellery or upscale retail sector, is an advantage.
• You have several years of leadership experience, preferably in leading and developing managers.
• You are proficient in managing sales performance and analysing sales metrics.

• You are determined, pragmatic and solution-oriented.
• You combine analytical thinking with a structured working method and a hands-on mentality.
• You quickly recognise connections, solve challenges efficiently and prioritise the customer experience.

Languages

• You speak German as your mother tongue and also have very good English skills. Any additional language, especially French, is an advantage.

The workplace is located at Zurich Airport. The role involves regular travel within German-speaking Switzerland.
