The Competition Commission (WEKO) and its Secretariat monitor the competitive conditions in Switzerland as independent federal authorities. The Secretariat consists of 70 employees mainly with legal and economic backgrounds and conducts, among other things, the procedures provided for by the Cartel and Internal Market Act.
