Responsibility for the stable operation and continuous development of the AVEVA PI system landscape including PI Data Archive, Asset Framework, and PI Vision
Administration and optimisation of the Windows server and domain infrastructure in physical and virtualised environments
Operation and further development of VMware and Proxmox HCI platforms including system, firmware, and OS upgrades
Planning and implementation of backup, recovery, and security concepts as well as regular updates of Microsoft and Linux systems
Collaboration and assumption of project or subproject management in IT/OT initiatives as well as support of the deployed hardware and software components
Qualifications:
Technical education at HF, TS, FH, or HTL level in IT/OT or comparable professional experience
Solid experience with AVEVA PI DA, AF, and PI Vision as well as Microsoft server technologies
Very good knowledge of VMware ESXi, Proxmox VE, and virtualisation; relevant certifications are an advantage
Experience with PowerShell, CLI, Veeam, Proxmox Backup and ideally network monitoring with PRTG
Structured, solution-oriented, and team-capable personality with enthusiasm for knowledge transfer; good German and English skills
Residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate or work as a cross-border commuter
