The Swatch Business Unit is responsible for the development, production, assembly and delivery of watch heads for the Swatch and Flik Flak brands. At our Plant 18 in Grenchen, state-of-the-art technologies are used to manufacture the various dials of these attractive products.

Your future areas of responsibility

• Leadership, motivation and further development of the quality assurance team
• Overall responsibility for quality management (development, project, production and customer quality)
• Definition, implementation and monitoring of testing and release processes
• Analysis of quality indicators and initiation of corrective and preventive measures
• Active involvement in product and process optimisations in close cooperation with production, development and project management
• Conducting and/or monitoring internal audits at the site (5S, process, workplace, product) and overseeing the implementation of required measures.
• Management of the handling of non-conformities at the site
• Preparation of the site’s quality reports (CNQ...) and tracking deviations from targets
• Leading the on-site metrology department (calibration, approval...)
• Training and raising awareness of employees on quality-related topics
• Participation in supplier evaluation by assessing the quality aspect of deliveries

Your skills and competencies

• Technical basic training with further education as a technician HF / engineer FH
• Experience in plastics technology (injection moulding process) is an advantage
• Sound knowledge in the field of quality
• Excellent knowledge of quality tools
• Several years of leadership experience
• Communicative and customer-oriented
• 
  Reliable personality with strong team spirit as well as the necessary assertiveness to successfully implement tasks and goals
  
  

Languages

Very good German and/or French skills with good knowledge of the other language, English skills are a great advantage
