The Public Prosecutor's Office handles or supervises all criminal cases in the canton of Fribourg and independently resolves a large portion of them, provided a matter is not referred to a court or dealt with by a criminal authority (district office, juvenile criminal authority) after the investigation is completed. The Public Prosecutor's Office has 16 prosecutors and employs around 70 staff members. It handles cases in French and German. The Public Prosecutor's Office is highly organised with numerous internal directives and guidelines.

Your tasks
- Management of the reception staff of the PPO (training, guidelines, workflows, quality and quantity control, statistics, absences and other personnel matters)
- Management and organisation of work at the reception
- Responsibility for the administration of the Tribuna database, recording of criminal complaints and reports, updating entries as well as training and supporting all PPO staff (creation of workflows)
- Management of procedures at the counter, the central mailbox and the PPO telephone switchboard
- Monitoring the execution of tasks, especially in connection with mail (receipt, distribution and dispatch)
- Contact person for the post office, Fribourg public transport and other agencies
Desired profile
- Federal VET diploma as a commercial employee or equivalent qualification
- Confident use of IT tools in the MS environment (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.). Proficiency in the specialist application Tribuna V3 is an advantage
- Relevant professional experience for the position, ideally with several years of work in the justice sector and experience in personnel management
- Strong organisational skills and independence
- Resilience and efficient working style
- Flexibility, discretion, sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team
- Fluency in German (spoken and written) with good knowledge of French
