Awaken young people’s curiosity for the digital world! At the Musegg Cantonal School, you will teach computer science, possibly in combination with mathematics, at all levels of the short-term grammar school and create exciting learning and project experiences together with a motivated team.

In the 2027/28 school year, there is also the possibility to take on a one-year substitute position amounting to an additional 50%.

Your tasks

With enthusiasm and didactic skill, you teach the basic subject of computer science and organise block days for your classes.
You also participate in the planning and implementation of interdisciplinary special weeks.
Through targeted support, you assist your students in their academic and personal development.
You actively engage in the computer science department and contribute your ideas.
Furthermore, you participate in the school community and maintain an open dialogue.

Your profile

You hold a Master’s degree in computer science as well as the higher teaching qualification for computer science, or are close to completing it.
You enjoy teaching and actively shaping the department.
A respectful approach to young people and a strong pedagogical commitment are natural to you.
Openness to new things and a willingness to continuously develop your teaching complete your profile.

The Musegg Cantonal School Lucerne is a young and dynamic 4-year short-term grammar school in the heart of the city of Lucerne. The short-term grammar school enables students to achieve the federally recognised gymnasial matriculation certificate after the 2nd or 3rd year of secondary school. The school has approximately 640 students and around 90 teachers.
