You manage the ordering process from requirements determination to delivery monitoring.
You look after suppliers, manufacturers, and external partners in day-to-day business.
You negotiate conditions and contractual frameworks with existing and new suppliers.
You examine new sources of supply and qualify suitable suppliers.
Assortment planning is carried out in collaboration with the responsible product managers.
You evaluate purchasing key figures and derive appropriate measures.
You keep article and price data up to date in the ERP system.
You continuously monitor market prices, raw material developments, and alternative procurement options.
Qualifications:
Purchasing specialist with a federal certificate or a comparable qualification
Several years of purchasing experience in a technically oriented Swiss SME
Confident negotiation skills and a strong cost awareness
Independent, structured, and reliable working style
Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP
Willingness to independently handle operational and strategic purchasing topics
Proactive working style with a clear focus on economical solutions
Very good German skills as well as fluent English
