Role:
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed, assertive, and technically skilled individual who, in addition to operational purchasing, also takes on the professional and personnel leadership of our purchasing team.
In this versatile key position, you combine your technical know-how with commercial acumen and take responsibility for efficient procurement processes, reliable material supply, and the continuous development of the purchasing team. You will also perform operational tasks in daily work.
Responsibilities:
Independent procurement of technical components, materials, assemblies, and services
Ensuring timely, cost-optimised, and high-quality material supply
Obtaining, checking, and comparing offers as well as conducting price and contract negotiations
Monitoring and tracking orders, delivery dates, and order confirmations
Maintaining and developing existing supplier relationships as well as evaluating new suppliers
Handling delivery deviations, complaints, and procurement bottlenecks
Maintaining and optimising purchasing-relevant master and transaction data in the ERP system
Assuming professional and personnel leadership of the operational purchasing team
Planning, coordinating, and prioritising daily tasks within the team
Promoting, supporting, and developing employees
Qualifications:
Completed technical or commercial basic training, ideally with further education in purchasing, supply chain management, or business administration
Several years of professional experience in operational and technical purchasing, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing company
Initial leadership experience or strong motivation to take on a team leadership role
Negotiation skills, assertiveness, and strong cost awareness
Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
Communicative personality with high social competence and team orientation
Confident handling of SAP and MS Office
Very good German and good English skills
