Our Banking Applications form the technological backbone of our banking services. We continuously develop them further, linking business requirements with modern technical solutions and ensuring stable and future-oriented operations.
To strengthen our six-person team, we are looking for a Product Owner Banking Applications – a committed and solution-oriented individual with solid banking expertise, technical understanding, and experience in managing projects and external providers.

Your area of responsibility

• You take on the professional and operational responsibility for several central software components and accompany them throughout their entire lifecycle.
• Together with the business units, you collect, analyse, and prioritise requirements and translate these into concrete further developments of our technical solutions.
• You coordinate the implementation of changes and further developments, ensuring alignment between business, internal stakeholders, and external providers.
• You manage our external technology and software providers and are the central contact person for the components you are responsible for.
• You accompany releases, technical adjustments, and projects, ensuring that professional, technical, and operational requirements are brought together.
• You continuously develop the existing products and applications and actively contribute your own ideas and solution approaches.
• In doing so, you work with agile and adaptive methods and create transparency regarding requirements, priorities, and implementation.

Your profile

• You have experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Project Manager, or in a comparable role with responsibility for technical components – ideally at a bank or another financial services company.
• Solid banking knowledge is central to this role. Experience in core banking, asset or portfolio management, or pension schemes is particularly welcome.
• You bring a good technical basic understanding and can confidently communicate with IT specialists and providers. Knowledge of databases and data structures is an advantage.
• You have experience working with and managing external providers.
• You know how to jointly gather, structure, and transfer requirements with the business into the further development of technical products.
• You are familiar with agile and adaptive working methods and apply them pragmatically and goal-oriented.
• You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, while appreciating close exchange with different business units and partners.
• You communicate confidently in German and English.
• Experience with a core banking system, especially Finnova, is an additional plus.
