Perfect.As an Application Operations Engineer, you are a central support for the operation of our OSS/BSS systems. With your technical understanding, analytical thinking, and quality awareness, you ensure that disruptions are quickly resolved – and our systems run stably at all times.
Application Operations Engineer
Your Tasks
- You are the contact point for complex 2nd-level tickets (Jira) concerning our central systems (OSS/BSS) – you analyse, resolve, and document
- For deeper issues, you escalate topics to problem or service disruption management
- If our monitoring system reports a disruption, you react quickly, find the cause, and restore everything to order
- Your knowledge does not belong in a drawer: you share it within the team and keep it well documented
- You work closely with 1st- and 3rd-level support
- When it gets critical, you ensure all parties are informed in good time

Your Skills
- A completed education in computer science or a comparable qualification
- You have completed or are currently attending a higher technical college
- Initial experience in application analysis, reading logs (e.g. with Splunk), and system monitoring (e.g. with Zabbix) is ideal
- You bring basic knowledge in software development – ideally in the .NET environment or with MS SQL Server or other relational databases
- You are curious, want to develop further – but routine tasks do not deter you
- You are willing to perform on-call duty
- Very good German skills and good English skills complete your profile
