Head of Institution «Zytlos» (70–80%)
The innovative institution «Zytlos» of the Reformed Church community of Zurich is aimed at a broad circle of people and allows for a different experience of church. The «Kafi Zytlos» is the heart of this institution and includes a catering operation with an open and warm welcoming culture. Acceptance of social diversity and mutual respect are high priorities. The social diaconate team offers a variety of services in different areas in addition to the catering diaconate, including the worship format „Uszyt“ as well as programs on mindfulness, art, and much more. We are looking for you to join our dedicated team as of now or by arrangement.
Your Tasks
- Leadership and coordination of the social diaconate team, the administration responsible, and the catering area «Kafi Zytlos» (leading 5 to 10 employees)
- Implementation of strategic goals and initiatives that align with the vision and mission of «Zytlos» and the Evangelical-Reformed Church community of Zurich
- Budget and resource management
- Ensuring collaboration with church bodies
- Networking within and outside the church community
- Ensuring transparent and effective internal and external communication
- Development and implementation of diaconal projects and offerings
Your Profile
- Degree in social diaconate, social work, or comparable education, ideally with business management training and hosting skills
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in a similar environment
- Proven knowledge in budget management and accounting issues
- Initiative leadership personality with networked thinking, pragmatic working style, and winning demeanor
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as solid Microsoft Office user skills
- Preferably a member of a national church
