Your Responsibilities

• Proper care and maintenance of the course garden according to Bio Suisse guidelines
• Further development of the facility as a practical learning and experience location
• Planning, organisation and implementation of courses and further training
• Planning and execution of projects
• Conducting the block week Brücke Ebenrain and working with young people
• Promotion of the course garden and communication measures for print media and social media

Your Background

• Gardener or equivalent qualification
• Experience in horticultural maintenance and sound plant knowledge
• Good knowledge of organic gardening
• Experience and enthusiasm in adult education
• Team spirit, independence and flexibility

Ebenrain Centre for Agriculture, Nature and Nutrition

The Ebenrain in Sissach is the competence centre of the canton of Basel-Landschaft for agriculture, nature and nutrition. It trains farmers, offers courses and advice, and promotes a balanced diet. In addition, Ebenrain implements the agricultural policy measures of the federal and cantonal governments and promotes sustainable management as well as biodiversity in agriculture, forest and settlement areas.

Collegial Cooperation

You will work in a two-person team in the course garden and maintain cooperation with other departments and divisions of Ebenrain. Throughout the Ebenrain team, we promote transparent, appreciative and mutually supportive collaboration.
