For a demanding ICT project with high security requirements, we are looking for an experienced ICT Security Architect (m/f/d) who actively shapes the development and implementation of secure IT architectures.

Job description:

• Development, documentation and evaluation of high-level, system and solution architectures for ICT services and IT infrastructures
• Design and assessment of security architectures for on-premises, cloud and service-based solutions
• Coordination of technologies and components with existing reference architectures as well as evaluation of technical solution variants
• Creation, review and further development of information security and data protection concepts (ISDS)
• Conducting and updating protection requirement analyses (SCHUBAN)
• Definition and support of the implementation of technical and organisational security measures
• Support in the implementation, verification and documentation of security features
• Conducting architecture reviews as well as preparing technical statements and decision bases
• Consulting project management, suppliers and internal departments on IT security issues
• Participation in agile project structures, for example in PI planning, system demos and sprint reviews
• Support of security audits, acceptance and handover of solutions to operational use

About the customer:

In this role, you are responsible for the design, evaluation and further development of security architectures. You ensure that IT systems, applications and interfaces meet the requirements for information security and data protection and accompany the implementation of the defined security measures.

You work closely with project teams, technical specialists and various stakeholders.

Framework conditions

• Work location: Bern / Zurich with home office option by arrangement
• Workload: 80-100%
• Start: 01.01.2027 or by arrangement
• Project duration: 2-year project until 30.11.2028

Requirements:

• Several years of practical experience in IT security architecture, ICT architecture or solution architecture with a focus on information security
• Sound knowledge in the design and evaluation of complex IT architectures
• Experience with on-premises, cloud and service-based IT solutions
• Good knowledge in the areas of information security, data protection and security architecture
• Experience in creating and further developing security and data protection concepts (ISDS)
• Knowledge in conducting protection requirement analyses (SCHUBAN)
• Experience with architecture reviews, technical interfaces and security requirements
• Understanding of the technical implementation, verification and documentation of security measures
• Experience in agile project environments, ideally with SAFe
• Analytical and structured working style as well as strong communication and consulting skills

Security check - mandatory requirement:

Due to the high security requirements of the project, a successfully completed background and security check is a mandatory requirement for employment or project assignment. This includes, among other things, verification of personal reputation as well as professional reference checks.

A positive completion of the required security checks is an absolute must-have for this position.
