Role:
Modern security does not end with firewalls and classic protection mechanisms. Crucial are secure identities, protected applications, resilient infrastructures, and a good understanding of how systems communicate with each other. In this position, you take on a technically versatile role between Application Security, IAM, Systems Engineering, and Network Security and can simultaneously advance future topics such as Post-Quantum Security and AI-supported development.
Responsibilities:
Security & Identity
You develop security concepts for Application Security and IAM together with clients
You support the introduction and further development of modern authentication and federation solutions
You analyse security requirements and accompany their implementation through to productive operation
Infrastructure & Engineering
You implement and operate complex security infrastructures and ensure their reliable further development
You take on systems engineering tasks around Linux, Kubernetes, Windows, and Network Security
You analyse technical logs and security events and optimise existing protection mechanisms
Innovation & Projects
You work on integration and migration projects with manufacturers, architects, as well as software and project teams
You expand your know-how in Post-Quantum Security and support corresponding migration initiatives
You sensibly incorporate new technologies and modern AI-supported development tools into technical work
Qualifications:
You have a completed degree in Computer Science at FH or university level
You have solid experience in Application Security, IAM, or Web Security
You are familiar with REST, SOAP, HTTP, TLS, OpenID Connect, OAuth, and SAML
You bring knowledge in cryptography, PKI, and OpenSSL
You have experience with Linux, Kubernetes, and Windows hardening
You can work with Elastic/Kibana and analyse security-relevant logs
You understand network technologies such as firewalling, routing, switching, and VPN
You are open to new technologies and ideally have experience with Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar tools
You have fluent German skills and good English skills
