Responsibilities:
You assess export transactions with regard to sanctions and control requirements.
You check customs classifications and goods origins according to applicable regulations.
You regularly conduct internal controls in the trade compliance area.
You prepare professional findings for internal contacts.
You coordinate contacts with authorities and external specialist bodies.
You analyse new requirements from foreign trade law and derive measures.
You continuously update specialist documents, processes, and guidelines.
You support internal employees with training and specialist information.
Qualifications:
Commercial background with recognised further training in customs or foreign trade.
Professional experience in international logistics, customs clearance, or trade compliance.
Good knowledge of legal requirements regarding embargoes, sanctions, and export control.
Familiar with preference calculation, goods origin, and international trade agreements.
Knowledge of customs value, commodity codes, and relevant import and export regulations.
Experience with ERP and customs systems as well as digital tools.
Independent and structured working style with strong analytical and communication skills.
German at a very good level and good English.
