About the job
The Baselland Red Cross is committed to supporting people in need with a variety of services. Around 130 employees and more than 500 volunteers help in emergency situations, engage in further education, health promotion, and integration of the population in the Basel region.
We are currently looking for immediate or agreed start:
Daycare staff on an hourly wage / approx. 20-40% annual working time
Your area of responsibility
- You support the guests in everyday tasks during their stay (care and supervision).
- You assist in daily planning including activation.
- You write progress reports.
Your profile
- You have the SRK nursing assistant certificate (mandatory)
- You enjoy working with elderly people and people with various impairments (dementia, MS, Parkinson's, CVI, etc.).
- You are enthusiastic about daily activities and activation. Ideally, you have completed further training in activation (e.g., the course "Activation Specialist for People with Dementia" by SRK BL).
- You are willing to work flexible hours (Mon-Fri).
- You are motivated to provide guests with a varied stay and approach them with empathy and patience.
