Avaloq Parameteriser / Java Backend Developer

Responsibilities

• Parameterisation and further development of portfolio management functions as well as master data extensions within the Avaloq Banking Platform
• Implementation of strategic projects in the area of investments & pension, especially refactoring of existing functions, interfaces and service calls in the area of investment proposals
• Design and development of Kafka-based event streaming interfaces for connection to the central integration platform
• Support, maintenance and further development of Java-based backend components
• Support of ongoing operations as well as analysis and resolution of technical issues within the DevOps approach
• Collaboration in an agile development environment according to SAFe and Scrum as well as close cooperation with internal stakeholders and other development teams

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Avaloq parameterisation
• Several years of practical experience in Java backend development
• Experience with agile development methods, ideally SAFe and Scrum
• Willingness to take on operational tasks in addition to development within the DevOps approach
• Interest in banking-related topics around investments, portfolio management and pension
• Fluent German language skills

Advantageous

• Knowledge or experience in event streaming, especially with Apache Kafka
