What to expect
- Logistics Business Partner: In close collaboration with logistics management, you translate operational reality and existing system data into a clear financial control logic.
- Performance & Cost Controlling: You use data from operational control controlling to translate logistical performance indicators into financial results, uncover cost drivers (focus on personnel, packaging and operating expenses) and identify optimisation potentials.
- Commercial & Assortment Controlling: You make hidden operational complexity costs visible, show logistical cost impacts of purchasing and assortment decisions, and actively incorporate these insights into corporate management.
- Investment Controlling: From profitability calculations (business case) through budget monitoring to project post-calculation, you competently manage the entire investment process.
- Budget and Forecast Process: You are significantly involved in supporting the logistics team in developing plans and targets, including subsequent variance analyses and deriving recommendations for action.
- Impulses in Controlling: You actively shape the further development of controlling processes and optimise existing control instruments for strategic decisions.
What you bring
- Professional Requirement: You have a university degree in finance/controlling, combined with several years of experience in supply chain/logistics controlling, ideally in retail or e-commerce.
- Data Analysis: With your solid experience in data analysis and your advanced skills in Excel and BI tools, you discover important connections and recognise trends that enable you to derive concrete action impulses.
- Goal Orientation: With a deep understanding of operational business, you focus on sustainable results. Your passion for continuous improvement helps you identify holistic and innovative optimisation potentials.
- Communication and Team Skills: You feel comfortable working closely with various internal partners, understand their needs, and approach them constructively and solution-oriented. You critically question existing processes constructively and use your assertiveness to drive decisions efficiently forward.
- Agility: You feel at home in a dynamic environment, show flexibility and are able to quickly adapt to changing requirements, but never lose sight of the big picture and our strategic goals.
